Could Finland Become the First Fully Carbon Neutral Country?

Finland is already the first country to officially commit to becoming carbon-neutral by 2035 as part of their Climate Change Act. 15 years earlier than what most of Europe tries to aim for when it comes to sustainability practices. Finland already utilizes a lot of sustainable practices in its society… But can a small Nordic country lead the world in achieving an environmentally friendly society? What is carbon neutrality? Carbon neutrality refers to the ability to have zero carbon emissions. Zero carbon emissions can mean producing little to no CO2 but it can more broadly refer to the ability to cancel out any emissions that one makes, taking back what they put out, enough to where it does not make an impact on the climate.
