Our third meeting (19/02/2022) was a Thai lesson. This time Oat and I decided to teach about question words and phrases which we thought might be another useful topic to know. The example of them are:
- Arai = What
- Arai na = What is that again? (when you want people to repeat their sentence)
- Tee nai = Where
- Pai nai = where are you going?
- Muae rai / Ton nai = When
- Tummai = Why
- Krai = Who
- Yang ngai = How
- Tao rai = How much
- Un nee = This one
- Un nun = That one
Beside this, we also talked and discussed family culture differences, pets or favorite animals, and other casual topics. I think it’s very good that we got to know the background and preferences of one another more. It would be great as well if we get to discuss more interesting topics like this in the upcoming meetings.
