In our last EOTO session, our group went to the boardgame bar “Latenight café”. Because we really enjoyed it there and it was raining outside on this day, we decided to meet there again. This time we focused on Valeria’s culture; Mexiko. During our meeting, Valeria told us about traditional mexican dishes, such as quesedillas, enchiladas, tacos and a traditional sauce called Mole Poblano. Because we didn’t had the chance to prepare/cook the meals by ourselfes, Valeria told us how to make them. The mexican food is completely different than typical german food. Eva and I also talked about some typical german dishes that we like and Etty told us something about traditional dutch dishes. I learned for example, that beans are ingredients almost every Mexican dish and that typical mexican tortillas are soft, and not the hard-shell tortillas that are common in America.
I really enjoyed our EOTO meeting, it was really interesting to learn about mexican food and more.
