Today I had my first Spanish lesson with Valeria, and it was a fantastic experience! π We booked a cozy classroom in the Hubs building, which created the perfect environment for learning. We started with the basics β introductions and greetings like hola, adiΓ³s, ΒΏcΓ³mo estΓ‘s?, and me llamoβ¦. We even practiced a bit of small talk to get used to using the phrases naturally.
We also did short speaking exercises and focused on pronunciation. It was fun but also a bit challenging π. I took structured notes of the new vocabulary and repeated everything out loud, which really helped me improve my pronunciation and remember the words better. πβ¨
Reflecting on the session, I already feel more confident introducing myself and using simple greetings in Spanish. I also realized that speaking out loud and taking clear notes are learning methods that work really well for me. It felt like I had taken the first real step into the language.
Overall, it was a great first meeting β full of learning, laughter, and small but exciting progress. Iβm already looking forward to the next lesson! πͺπ£οΈπ
