First meeting: Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Umair and I first met on the 13th of February 2021 through Zoom meeting. We decided earlier that Umair would teach me Urdu because he was learning two other languages at that moment. So I did not teach him the Bangla language.
In our first meeting, I learned how to pronounce the Urdu alphabet. There are basically 36 letters in the Urdu alphabet. But there are also some symbols that can go above or below letters to modify their sound. The Urdu alphabet is a modification of the Persian alphabet, which is itself a derivative of the Arabic alphabet.
It was interesting to learn about the letters because it’s written from right-to-left. I was already familiar with Arabic letters so it was easy to learn for me.
I found similarities between the Arabic and Urdu alphabets. Then I tried to write these letters on paper. I did not try to write on paper for a long time. I think I didn’t do that bad!
