Meeting 7/10 Spanish/ English Roosa and Edgar

In this interview we stayed at Roosa’s house because she invited me to dinner to teach me how to Italian food she learned in her stay in Italy.
We were talking about Italy because she was going to go on vacation to Italy next week, with that we were doing a conversation of 1h in Spanish for Roosa to practice and take fluency, and 1h in English. We learned all kinds of vocabulary such as when I was explaining about the house where I lived, we were talking about streets, in Spanish it is called manzanas when you refer to streets as well.
We used this type of vocabulary that she and I did not really remember and it was good to review:

consulate – consulado
corner – esquina
crossroads – cruce
crosswalk – paso de peatones
cul-de-sac – callejón sin salida
curb – bordillo de la acera
department store – grandes almacenes
ditch – zanja
downtown – centro de la ciudad
fire brigade – cuerpo de bomberos
gutter – alcantarilla, cuneta
