I wanted to go eat Mustamakkara because I heard it was the specialty of Tampere.
So on a random day we decided to go to the Tapolan kiosk, we heard this was their specialty.
We were really curious how it would taste. Almost everyone thought the same, it wasn’t bad but not amazing either. It was also very very heavy, I felt it the whole day laying on my stomach.
I actually thought it would be a lot more like a blood sausage (which I don’t like) and didn’t know there was a lot of rye in it so I’m glad I tried it.
We talked about typical food and beverages in Germany and Belgium. We learned some things like flammkuchen, schnapps, blutwurst. We thought a schnitzel was also German but it turned out that it was Austrian.
After that we took a walk in the city and visited a shopping mall.
