This time, we drank some Finnish drinks!!! We bought Salmari and Helmi in Alko. Alko is a store which sells various alcohols.
Actually, our main purpose of today was focused on tasting a Salmari, because we can say Salmari is really-really Finnish alcohole. It is a Salmiakki-taste alcohol, so I was really afraid of it at first! Because, I really don’t like Salmiakki!!! It tastes like a medicine for cough 🙁 So, for me, Alessandra recommended to buy another Finnish alcohol, Helmi. It has two flavor : Chocolate, Coffee. We chose Chocolate.
But, Salmari was better than Salmiakki! I could drink Salmari~ It still had medicine taste, but it was ok. And we drank Helmi with milk and it was also really nice! It was similar to Kahlua-milk cocktail!
We enjoyed drinks and chips tonight and we also learned some words for beginning drinking. Cheers! = Kippis! = 건배(gunbae) or 짠(zzan)! Moreover, in korea, we also begin drinking with some comments, ‘For something or someone!’ instead of 건배. For example, ‘ For love!’, ‘For friendship!’, ‘ For health!’, ‘For our success! and ‘ For EOTO!’.
Today’s drinking party was really nice!
