We had our seventh meeting on November 18th at Lapinkaari. On this occasion we organized together a small snack in the afternoon. The environment was very comfortable and cozy; I had the feeling that we were a group of friends sharing quality time, while we learned in a natural way.
The meeting started with a conversation about future trips with friends from our Erasmus. Each person talked about where they would like to go and what we were most excited about. It was very interesting to listen to such different experiences and projects, and we learnt new vocabulary related to traveling and trips in English, Spanish and Persian.
After that, we worked on vocabulary related to the kitchen, something very appropriate for that situation. We learnt the meaning of words like spoon, fork, plate, cup or oven, and tried to use them pointing out the real objects that we had around us. This made learning a lot more dynamic and entertaining.
Personally, I really liked how natural the learning process was during this meeting. The language came to life while talking about food, cooking and trips, topics that we all like. Furthermore, I realized that my vocabulary has considerably increased from the first meeting and that now I feel much more comfortable while talking in other languages.
