Night walk in the snow

As the snow was falling at the December of 14th we decided to take a walk in the snow on at night. The streets were calm, and everything around us was blanketed in 15 cm of snow. The only sound we could hear was the crunch of our boots in the snow as we walked through the empty streets. It felt peaceful and almost magical, with the streetlights casting a slight snowfall on the snow-covered ground. We walked for a while, enjoying the winter air and chatting about the winter time in our home countries.

I said, that i really like skiing in the Alps but it is very expensive. The girls didn’t agree with me, they like more walking around and experience a quiet landscape covered in snow.

As we walked, we also learned a few new words from each other’s languages. From Czech, we picked up sníh (snow), večer (evening), and procházka (walk). In German, we used Schnee (snow), Nacht (night), and Spaziergang (walk). It was a great way to practice the languages while experiencing something so simple but special. The walk allowed us to take in the beauty of the winter night and share a moment together, all while learning a bit more about each other’s cultures.
