Punctuality
Finnish people are used to be on time. When Finnish people have said what time they will meet they really be there that time or few minutes earlier or they tell if they are few minutes late. Same when we say we will do something at least next week or we say we will do it next day, it really have done when people say.
Nature
Finnish people appreciate nature. Here is thousand lakes and a lot of forest and people want to keep it clean and everyone can enjoy it. Finnish children learn that they cannot throw garbage into the ground and they are taught at school how waste is recycled ad why it is important.
Here is a lot of national parks in Finland where everyone can go and there is good trails and signposts almost in every forest. Everyman’s rights give everyone freedom to enjoy nature. People have right to camping, pick up berries etc. in forest if they do not do it close to someone’s home or otherwise disturb other people.
Own space
Finnish people are used to their own space and being quite. Finnish people want to sit alone in public places if they do not have friend around, they go to sit on the other side of the bus than other people, they are not used to have small talk and they do not touch each other if it is not necessary, usually it is not. But this do not make Finnish people rude, they will help you friendly if you ask something on the street. Finnish people just do not take contact to unknown people if they do not need it. Finnish people do not always even know who live next to them
