Ensimmäinen tunti on omistettu investointiesityksille. Staff scientistien koordinaattori Poika Isokoski teki katsauksen vuosisuunnittelun investointiehdotuksiin viikon aikana tulleisiin lisäselvityksiin ja täydennyksiin. Edelleen on kohtia, joita Isokoski ei ollut ehtinyt selvittää, mutta kokouksessa käytiin läpi investointiehdotuslistaa ja tehtiin priorisointia olemassa olevilla tiedoilla.  Deadline investointiedotuksille on 22.9.2023.

 

Erja Sipilä on koostanut ansiokkaan setin Väitöskirjatutkijoiden viimeistelypaikat​ -kierroksesta. Viimeistelypaikkojen tavoitteena on saattaa väitöskirjatyö esitarkastusvaiheeseen. Haku on tarkoitettu opiskelijoille, joilla ei ole tällä hetkellä rahoitusta tai mahdollisuutta projektirahoitukseen väitöskirjatyön viimeistelemiseksi. Väitöskirjatutkijalle jaettava rahoitus on 3-12 kk.​ Tuen tavoitteena on maksimoida valmistuvien määrä. Dekaani tekee lopullisen päätöksen kuultuaan tohtoriohjelmia ja johtoryhmää laajennetun johtoryhmän kokouksessa. Tohtoriohjelmilta on tulossa raportti edellisen kierroksen viimeistelyrahoituksen tuloksellisuudesta.​

Saara Asikainen esittelee  tiedekunnan hallinnollisten johtotehtävien rekrytoinnit -materiaalin, joka on luonnostasolla. Yliopistotason linjauksia kokonaisuuteen vielä odotetaan.

Saara Asikainen on koostanut viime viikon Palaute palveluista -kierroksen jälkeen seuraavan version, jota voi vielä kommentoida. Aikaa kommentointiin on keskiviikkon asti.

The first hour is dedicated to investment presentations. Poika Isokoski, coordinator of staff scientists, reviewed the investment proposals of the annual planning and the additional clarifications and additions that came during the week. There are still points that Isokoski had not had time to clarify, but the meeting went through the list of investment proposals and prioritized with the existing information. The deadline for investment proposals is 22 September 2023.

Erja Sipilä has compiled a meritorious set from the Dissertation researchers’ finalization places​ round. The goal of the finishing positions is to bring the dissertation work to the preliminary inspection stage. The application is intended for students who currently do not have funding or the possibility of project funding to complete their dissertation work. The funding allocated to the doctoral researcher is 3-12 months. The aim of the support is to maximize the number of graduates. The dean makes the final decision after consulting the doctoral programs and the management team at the meeting of the extended management team. A report on the performance of the previous round’s finishing funding is coming from the doctoral programs.​​

Preliminary schedule for the search for finishing places in autumn 2023:​​
– Application open 25.9. starting week, the application ends on 12 or 16 October
– 13 or 17 October 2023 applicant lists for doctoral program managers
– Presentations of doctoral programs by 8 November 2023

Saara Asikainen presents the faculty’s administrative leadership positions recruitment material, which is at a draft level. University-level guidelines for the whole are still awaited.

After last week’s Feedback on services round, Saara Asikainen has compiled the following version, which can still be commented on.

Tiina Toikka and Saara Asikainen go through the recruitment schedules for administrative leadership positions in the ITC faculty.

• The deans’ appointments will be published on 4 October 2023.
• The ITC faculty would like to continue beyond the turn of the year (until 31.1.24 or 31.7.24) through the degree and doctoral program supervisors, there will be discussions on the subject.
• The positions included in the internal search (5-year term, as well as the dean): the positions of the vice dean of education and research, as well as the positions of heads of units. The application starts on 25 September 2023.
