Johtoryhmän keskiviikkoaamun ainoa aihe on väitöskirjatutkijoiden palkkapaikat. Paikkoja on jaossa kymmenen, joista kaksi sähkötekniikan yksikköön, kaksi viestinnän yksikköön, kaksi kielten yksikköön ja neljä tietotekniikan yksikköön. Paikat ovat 2-4 vuotisia. Hakemuksia tuli kaikkiaan 166. Hakemusten taso oli korkea.
Tiedot ilmoitetaan ensin valituille, ja valittujen nimet julkaistaan myöhemmin ITC-sähköpostilistalla.

The only topic for the management team on Wednesday morning is the places for dissertation researchers. There are ten seats allocated, including two to the Electrical Engineering Unit, two to the Communication Sciences Unit, two to the Language Unit and four to The Computing Sciences Unit. The places last for two to four years. A total of 166 applications were received. The level of applications was high.
