As a fresh aerospace engineering graduate the “Leap of Faith,” had other plans for me. Instead of the life of an engineer, I found myself thrust into our family business. Completely clueless about what I should do, I decided to deepen my knowledge by diving into books, taking coursesand learning anything about business that I could find. Later on, I realised my learning was about scattered and I needed structure, a more coherent education.
I realised my learning was about scattered and I needed structure, a more coherent education. This was the beginning of my research to look for Business Management Universities.
This was the beginning of my research to look for business management universities. I already knew about Finnish culture due to the fact that J.R.R. Tolkien, the writer of “The Lord of the Rings,” drew inspiration from Finnish for his constructed language, which he used to develop the Elvish languages in his books. As a result, I delved deeper into Finnish culture and language, where I began to uncover the captivating world of Finland.
TAMK was the best match for me with project oriented and practical studies and dynamic learning
My exploration of Finnish culture and language ultimately led to discover more about Finland and its educational opportunities. Leading to the fact that pursuing a Master’s in Business Management in Finland can be a fantastic step in my journey to gain a coherent education in the field.
Finnish universities are known for their high-quality education and often offer programs that encourage a global perspective and practical skills. It was at this time that my researches started through various universities in Finland, and I ended up shortlisting myself to one university: Tampere University of Applied Sciences. It was the best match an English course which is project oriented rather than other theorical majors providing a practical and dynamic learning environment.
My decision to study IBM at TAMK is one of the few choices I’ve made that has proven to be a perfect fit. Being here is precisely the enchanting adventure I had envisioned from the very beginning.
I was so eager to study IBM that I tried 3 times until finally I got in. The first year I accidentally applied for Growth Maker major and I missed IBM. The next year when I applied, I was accepted but I got pregnant so I had to wait another year to begin my studies. Now here I am as a mother with a nine-month-old baby also a student at TAMK. My decision to study IBM at TAMK is one of the few choices I’ve made that has proven to be a perfect fit. Being here is precisely the enchanting adventure I had envisioned from the very beginning.
