When we are children, we have many activities that help us to develop our intellect and also our mobility.
With time we become less active, due to everyday routines coping with relationships, work, children, and stress. But it would still be of importance to have activities that require physical and mental activity.
What happens if you are a creative person?
You need activities besides your work where you can release your creativity.
Creative people are often looking for the unknown, willing to take risks, and many of them become entrepreneurs.
If you are a creative person, take your time to think about what kind of activities you can do to make your creativity grow. Do you like music, art, dance or something else?
Having a creative hobby makes you happy.
When we were kids, we enjoyed painting, making music, playing chess, solving puzzles, dancing, playing with our imagination.
I suggest you find some fun and joyful activity which create endorphins. Different studies have shown the benefits of creative hobbies on your brain, they have found endorphin generators which make you happy.
Creative hobbies allow your brain to work in a new way outside of your usual routines. When you shift your focus from your worries and stress by doing a crossword puzzle, physical activity, or painting, you change the chemical makeup of your brain and body. By participating in your hobbies regularly, you can help battle depression, anxiety, and sluggishness.
Hobbies build confidence because being good at something and learning something new is rewarding. The confidence you gain from challenging yourself in your hobby can help prepare you for learning new things at work.
Getting caught up in something you enjoy doing is great for relieving stress. Hobbies that require some level of physical activity also create chemical changes in our body that help reduce stress but even if your hobby does not require physical activity there are still benefits. Getting a break from stress at work and doing something you enjoy can rejuvenate the mind and help better prepare you to handle the challenges in the future.
The internet provides endless ways to connect with people that enjoy doing the same things that you do. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, discuss your hobby and get more involved with bigger groups.
100% AGREE! I think of myself as a creative person and I have stumbled across these same conclusions, every time when I’ve been dealing with stress. Good thinking💯
