Last week we had our third meeting with our EOTO group, a Finnish night, hosted by us. We were at Emilia`s place and we all brought some traditional Finnish foods there.
At first we served to our guest some Salmari and after that it was time to eat and learn some new words and phrases. We had mashed potatoes, meatballs, karelian pastries, doughnuts and butter with eggs. We also had some Finnish music at the background like Antti Tuisku and Haloo Helsinki.
After that it was time for some learning and teaching. Paola and Sofia had made us these lovely summaries of Spanish pronunciation. So we learned new Spanish words and pronunciation. Like what was the difference between papa and papá. We also taught what these words means in Finnish.
We were supposed to play Afrikan tähti and watch some Finnish TV-series, but we had so much fun learning Spanish and hanging with our new friends that we ran out of time.
