For our meeting, we decided to meet at Stockman to speak and share our vocabulary about the clothes and beauty products. Indeed, in order to enrich our daily vocabulary (and mainly in Finnish because sometimes I really need some words when I am in the shops !!).
So here is the main words that I learnt during this meeting :

- perfume – parfum – parfüm – hajuvesi (“haju” = smell / “vesi “= water)
- body cream – crème pour le corp – körpercreme – rasva
- shampoo – shampoing – shampoo – shampoo (only the french word is different !!)
- shower gel – gel douche – bade shampoo – saippua
- make up – maquillage – make up – meikki
- red lips stick – rouge à lèvre – lippenstift – huulipuna
- nailpolish – vernis – nagellack – kynsilakka
- dress – robe – klieg – mekko
- coat – manteau – jacke – takki
- t-shirt – t-shirt – t-shirt – t-paika
- pants- pantalon -hose – housut
- shoes – chaussures – schuhe – kengät
- handbag – sac à main – handtasche – käsilaukku
- …
I really enjoy to learn this kind of vocabulary. Indeed, I am a girl, and for me make up and clothes are one of my passions !!
I also really like the fact to meet my group in stockman, it is a very good idea !!
