On our third meeting we got together at a bar. The main topic of todays meeting was beer. We talked about vocabulary around beer, how it is made and so on. However, we did not only talk about beer but also about the culture surrounding it. For example, the drinking culture in Germany and Finland, the drinking age and of course the differences in pricing. As there wasn’t any German beer in the bar we tried some Finnish ones, which was also good and we luckily got for a student discount. All in all, it was nice to just chat with some friends in bar and drink some beer. A typical weekend activity for Germany and Finland.
