7th of March. Mari and me met for an intercultural Pancake meeting. Firstly we had delicious pancakes and talked in a group of Finnish, German, Slovakian, French and Korean. Afterwards we started with some serious German. We watched a series which is made to learn German (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Jd03r5IvWs) and tried to understand everything (quiet difficult for beginners). We only made 10 minutes of the series but it took us 45 minutes to understand everything. This is very useful as interesting questions about grammar come up while watching this where we can work on during our next meeting.
Afterwards it was my time to learn some Finnish. We went to www.uuno.fi. On this website it is possible to learn some basic Finnish with comics and games. We read a comic about a group of friends which are swimming in an outdoor swimming pool in the middle of winter (so Finnish).
