Let me introduce a really good textbook for all you Finnish teachers! It has easy and useful dialogue and vocabulary.
I just borrowed it randomly from the TAMK library to give direction to our classes but it turned out to be a really good book. Yesterday we had a Finnish class again, I think the students are getting a bit nervous about their upcoming Finnish exam… We learnt a couple of new things such as the passive form and going somewhere BY something, for example a car. Kirjoitetaan, luetaan, syödään. Alex ajaa kotiin autoLLA, Alex ajaa kotiin pyöräLLÄ. We also distinguished mutta from vaan. En syö jäätelöä, vaan pastaa. Syön jäätelöä, mutta en pidä siitä.
