Spain - Nepal [Second meeting]

Second meeting! Again, we met in the coffee place. This second meeting was again part of the introduction.

We kept talking about our lives out of Finland and our hobbies. This time, as she knew that I was interested in travelling to Nepal, she explain to me and show me the best places to go visit.

The most beautiful places that she showed me, were this ones:

  • Pokhara (पोखरा). Is a metropolitan city in Nepal. It is the country’s largest metropolitan city in terms of area and second-largest in terms of population. Pokhara is considered the tourism capital of Nepal. Is a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit through the Annapurna Conservation Area.
  • Mustang. Upper Mustang is an upper part of Mustang District, which is located in Nepal. The Upper Mustang it’s one of most preserved regions in the world, with a majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetic languages. Tibetan culture has been preserved by the relative isolation of the region from the outside world. Life in Mustang revolves around tourism, animal husbandry and trade.
  • Gosaikunda. Gosaikunda is an alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake in Nepal’s Langtang National Park, located at an elevation of 4,380 m in the Rasuwa District.

Also, we talked a lot about my country, Spain. Specifically, I am from Catalonia, a region in the northeast corner in Spain. I showed her the best places to go, especially the beautiful beaches on the coast and my favourite city of Spain, Barcelona.

At the end, we decided to do another meeting next week in which I will teach her how to introduce herself in Spanish, which, in my point of view, is a good way to start.
