Unfortunately, this past Tuesday was our last stay for Each One Teach One. Since we had already made all the most interesting plans, we decided to go to the Christmas market. This market is placed at Keskustori square, very close to our residence place. There they have installed a lot of stalls since a few weeks, where they sell food, sweets, jewellery, clothes, as well as many other Christmas decorations.

We met with the Belgian guys at half-past three, just after eating. The Christmas market was especially nice because of the snow. The white layer that covers the floor gives it a more realistic air. Even Santa Claus was taking a walk around the market. We take advantage of the hangout to buy a Christmas gift. I bought candies of blueberries and raspberries. A girl offered to me and I could not resist.
We also saw a place where a man was making glass figures. He used an oven and long sticks to mould the figures until he got the desired shape. We were watching for a while as he did, leaving us astonished. After taking a picture with Santa, we kept watching a few more clothes stalls.
It was our last meeting for Each One Teach One, but we still have one week to see our Belgian friends. I have really enjoyed this course. I’ve met two great friends which I will see this year in Belgium for sure.
Thank you all of you for making these four months incredible!
See you soon!
ANGEL 🙂
