Greetings from Berlin!
Everything has been going well! Berlin is an incredibly beautiful city that has been a joy to explore.
Worry not, I have also been studying. School has been going fine, and the highlight of my time here has been all the amazing people I’ve had the pleasure to meet. I’ve made friends with people all over the world that I’ve grown to love. I’ve learned about their cultures, told them about Finland and discussed German habits with them.
Studying here has been somewhat similar to Finland. Coursework has consisted of groupworks and interesting lectures. Teaching language has switched from Finnish to English, which has taken some time to get used to.
Fortunately, not all my time has been spent studying, and I’ve had the chance to explore the city. I’ve done so much sightseeing and shopping my shoes have been put to the test! I’ve been on a boat tour through the city, seen the incredibly famous Brandenburg Gate, explored the beautiful castle in Charlottenburg and seen the polar bears in the zoo.
Overall my exchange period here has been a success, and I’ve loved my time in Berlin!
