First phase on developing an international career: studying business in the University of Derby
Spending a semester in Salzburg has been an unforgettable experience. Between long study days and spontaneous trips to the mountains, my exchange has been a mix of challenging studies and amazing outdoor adventures.
Living in Greece has given me the opportunity to experience a different culture while continuing my studies in International Business. During my time here, I have been able to observe how studying, working culture, and everyday life differ from Finland. In this postcard I share my experiences about studying, spare time, and cultural differences between Greece and Finland.
My experience was exceptionnel in Bordeaux. I have spend two semesters here. In the first semester I had classes regarding wine business and sustainability and in my second semester I was studying management classes. Bordeaux has a vibrant city life which I enjoyed really much.
A spontaneous application and choice of place turning into an unforgettable semester in Bavaria.
During my internship in Fuengirola, Spain, I had the opportunity to work as a teacher in a Finnish home school while experiencing everyday life in a completely different cultural environment. This experience taught me not only about education, but also about adaptability, culture, and myself.
Living in Munich has been exciting chapter for me. This is my last week here and I feel so grateful for this experience. Here are some thoughts about living and studying in Munich.
Spending five months as an exchange student in Madrid was one of the most intense and memorable periods of my life. From travelling and meeting people from all over the world to enjoying the city's nightlife and food culture, my exchange semester was about much more than just studying.
Gijon treated me really well and served me a bunch of culinary experiences.
During my study exchange in Bordeaux, France, I had the opportunity to experience international business studies in a new academic and cultural environment. Living and studying abroad helped me develop both professionally and personally, while also allowing me to explore French lifestyle, culture, and working habits.
