My studies abroad
Starting my studies in a new country was always going to be a hassle but I had no idea how chaotic it was going to be. After the first few weeks things cleared out and started going normally and less stressfully. The teaching methods were very simular to the ones in Finland and the quality of the teaching was really good.
Spare time
My spare time was spent hanging out with the other exchange students. Mostly partying and exploring the city. Thankfully the group that we had was interested at doing some sports as well so every night didn’t include late nights and ruff mornings.
Working culture
I was expecting the work culture to be mostly the same as in Finland but to my surprise it was a lot more carefree for better or for worse. School was definitely a lot easier in Germany and it gave me more free time to get to know people and the city. Sometimes I did miss the routines that frequent school work provides but for 5 months this was the best option.
