Greetings from Brno

I was lucky to enjoy the winter semester in beautiful Czech Republic. Over the course of the exchange I made new friends all over the world!

I studied in faculty of chemistry and did one 30 credit course over the course of the exchange. My studies included paper on how different gelatine substitutes effect the taste and firmness of the gummies. The studies were fun, and my professor was very understanding. Studies in Czech were easier, at least for exchange students than in Finland.

In my free time I travelled a lot inside and outside of the country. They have excellent trains, and those are half off for students under 25. Brno is close to two international airports (Vienna and Praha). ย I visited all the neighbouring countries and then some.
