Hellooo Everyone!
Damn, it has been almost two and a half months since I left my home in Finland to move into a totally new place in Germany. I still remember the strange, maybe even a bit scary feeling of moving to a totally different country with all the new things and especially the fact that I cannot speak Finnish language to people anymore. Well the times and feelings are over and here I am in Hannover and I feel I have been here for only two weeks! Time flies so fast as there is so many new people, things, trips and lessons in school. By far I have met really friendly and awesome people as well as had unforgettable trips with fellow exchange students and local friends! Though I have been here only for two months, I have seen the real Oktoberfest in Munich, beautiful city of Prague, Hamburg and also many other places close to Hannover. Of course not to forget to mention the whole time in Hannover, which seems to be really familiar to me already.

What comes to studying, I thought that studying with a totally different school with a totally different language would be hard. Well, it showed up to be much easier than I thought as there are not any kind of problems regarding the studying here. Only problems with actual studies are my timetables which got a little bit messed up. Fortunately everything is now fixed and my studying here is as good as it can be.
What comes to expectations about the future, I hope I have fun for the rest of the exchange and I want to experience as much new things and culture as possible. Also I hope that my studies will continue to go as fluently as they go now. And for the record, everyone knows it is almost impossible to learn German culture wihtout learning it from inside a one liter pint of beer. π
All the best to fellow exhange students and all you others too! With best regards,
Mikko Keituri
