Finnish people directly linked to Finland’s nature, silent but beautiful. Some people might think Finn’s are weird for being so quiet and awkward in social situations but we don’t jump into conclusions quickly. “I don’t necessarily need to have hundreds of friends as long as I have ten close ones”, very deep thinking.
Approximately 77% of Finland’s surface area is forest so if you start to think almost everyone here lives in a forest. Forests are perfect for taking a walk and get your thoughts together when you’ve had a crazy day at the office or at school. At the same time you might pick up some berries or even mushrooms.
And now as the winter is getting closer, dark times are closing upon us and Finn’s quietly starts their winter sleep. So if you thought we were silent in the spring or summer time just wait and see. But I love Finland and its people. You don’t always have to talk and try to please people, sometimes less is enough.
