Nature
Finnish people have strong connection with nature. Our nature here in Finland is beautiful and super diverse. Finland is fortunate to have four different seasons and nature is everywhere around you. Even in the biggest cities, the nearest forest or sea shore is close by. You can enjoy experiences of nature even in the middle of town! Finnish people really enjoy all the four seasons. Going to the nature, whether that be a lake, a river or a forest, is an important part of life here in Finland for most Finns.
Holidays
Finnish holidays are similar to Western Christian calendar. Finnish people love to celebrate different holidays with friends and family. Biggest holidays that we celebrate are Christmas, Midsummer and First of May. All of them have special traditions and for example a majority of Finns go to their summer cottages (mökki) during midsummer.
