I think being Finnish is richness and I am a really proud Finn. Every time I travel to a different country with a different culture, I appreciate Finland even more. I think Finland is safe and good place to live.
Many Finns describe us as a nation of jerks. We like to sauna naked with full of strangers, but we too are shy to talk to our neighbors. At the same time, we have a Finnish spunk that can get through even a gray stone. We are hockey fans and during the world Championships we are all best friends together. We are unyielding and empathetic.
We are equal and have a wonderful welfare state. We have a wonderful education system because we have a guaranteed primary school for everyone and I think it is easy to get an education in Finland if you compare it to other countries. Health care also takes care of us and we have the opportunity to get treatment whenever we need it.
One of the best things in my opinion is the weather in Finland. It is beautiful, but at the same time many find it depressing. I think it’s great how we experience warm summers, fall colored autumn, snowy winter and a beautiful spring. I personally couldn’t stand constant heat or cold, so I think this is richness that we have four seasons. Finland’s clean nature is also really beautiful. We have thousands of lakes and lots of forest. In nature it’s wonderful to reset your thoughts and relax in the middle of all the hustle and bustle.
Finland is a safe and dear country to me. Finland is the happiest country in the world year after year and that tells me and others something about this country. It’s good and safe for people to be here, and here you can build your own life well and without worry.
