Hey everyone!
I’m currently spending my exchange semester here in The Hague, in the Netherlands. I’m studying a course called Smart Manufacturing and Robotics. Back in Finland, I study electrical and automation engineering, so this course fits really well with my degree.
The studies here are quite demanding. We often have long days full of projects, teamwork, and practical exercises. The teaching style is hands-on, and I’ve learned a lot of new technical skills. I’m the only exchange student in my class, so all my classmates are Dutch. That has been both challenging and rewarding, it really pushes me to step out of my comfort zone and communicate in a new environment.

During weekdays, most of my time goes into studying. On weekends, I try to explore as much as I can. The Hague is such a nice city. Here there are beaches, parks, museums, and lots of things going on. I’ve also visited nearby cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Utrecht.

Travelling has been one of the best parts of this exchange. I’ve been to several countries around Europe, and it’s been amazing to see new places and experience different cultures. I’ve also gone to a few football matches, the atmosphere there is incredible!

Overall, this exchange has been a great experience. I’ve learned so much about engineering and teamwork. It’s been a perfect mix of studying, exploring, and meeting new people from all over the world.
