One summer, I met an Indian guy who called Finland a “frozen land,” saying he couldn’t believe it got up to +30 in the summer. The contrast between the different seasons is one of the things that makes Finland so beautiful. Each season has its own charm. I especially love winter, with its fresh air and magical snowy landscapes. I love skiing through the forests and enjoying the peaceful quiet of a winter’s day.
On top of that, I really appreciate the freshness of the air and the cleanliness of the environment. Finland is a safe country that also fosters a sense of equality among its people, which is an important part of what it means to be Finnish. For me, Finnishness is all about freedom – the freedom to explore nature, to connect with others, and to embrace the unique rhythm of life here.
