Suomen Akatemia avaa haun uusille lippulaivoille, joiden rahoituskausi on vuosina 2024-2031. Uuden ohjelman hakuinfo järjestetään 14.3.2023 klo 15.00-16.00 Teamsissa. Koska lippulaivat tarvitsevat isäntäorganisaation vahvan sitoutumisen, on hakuaikeista pitänyt ilmoittaa 8.3. mennessä.
ITC-tiedekunnasta on tulossa muutama hakemus.

Säätiöt ja rahastot ry:n jäsenten yliopistokiertue on Tampereella 9.5.2023.
Yliopistokiertueen tarkoituksena on kasvattaa säätiöiden ja tutkijoiden ymmärrystä toistensa tekemisistä vaikuttavuuden lisäämiseksi. Useammalle vuodelle jakautuva kiertue pysähtyy eri yliopistoissa törmäyttämässä tutkimuksen rahoittajia ja tekijöitä, Tampereen yliopisto on kiertueen kolmas kohde.
– Säätiöt haluavat, että tutkimusrahoitus on mahdollisimman vaikuttavaa ja että tutkijat voivat hyvin. Tarkoituksenamme on myös, että tutkijat osaavat hakea rahoitusta heille parhaiten sopivilta säätiöitä, Säätiöt ja rahastot ry:n toimitusjohtaja dosentti Liisa Suvikumpu on todennut kiertueen alkaessa.
Nyt Maija Belliard kerää ITC:n puhujaehdotuksia säätiöpäivälle. Varsinaisen päivän ohjelman koostavat tutkimuksen vararehtori & c.o.
Kirsi Aalto kertoo, että Tamperelaisen tutkimustyön tukisäätiö pyytää Tampereen yliopistoa nimeämään ehdokkaita tämän vuoden tutkimusapurahojen jakoa varten. Apurahan saajaksi pyydetään 2-3 ehdotusta tekniikan, terveyden ja yhteiskunnan alueilta. Rehtori ja vararehtori Visakorpi valitsevat lopulliset ehdotukset tukisäätiölle.
Tiedekuntien pedagogiikan kehittämiseen on tarjolla yliopiston rahoitusta. ”Tiedekunnat ja kielikeskus voivat hakea rahoitusta ja tukea seuraaviin: digivision jatkuvan ja joustavan oppimisen tarjottimen tarjonnan kehittäminen, digipedagogiikan edistäminen, flip and learn-pedagogiikan soveltaminen opintojaksolla, kurkistuskurssien (lukiolaiset, toisen asteen opiskelijat) kehittäminen ja ECIU-yliopiston tavoitteiden mukaisen opetustarjonnan kehittäminen (CBL-pedagogiikan mukaiset haasteet sekä mikromoduulit).”
Pekka Verholle on tullut kuusi hakemusta. Käymme läpi hakemukset ja keskustelemme priorisoinnista.
Koulutusvaradekaanin ilmoittautumismenettely on auki 15.3. asti, toivomme, että päätös tulisi mahdollisimman pian.
Haku palkallisiin väitöskirjatutkijan tehtäviin käynnistyy ensi viikolla. Palkkapaikkoja laitetaan auki kahdeksan ja ne ovat 2-4-vuotisia.

Academy of Finland will open the 4th call of Finnish Flagship Programme with a funding period of 2024-2031. The call text will be published in March and applications are invited 14 Apr–16 May 2023. The internal DL for Letter of Intents was on March 8th.

The university tour of the members of Säätiöt ja rahastot ry (The Association of Finnish Foundations) is in Tampere on May 9, 2023.
The purpose of the university tour is to increase the understanding of foundations and researchers about what each other does in order to increase effectiveness. The tour, spread over several years, stops at different universities to meet research funders and authors, the University of Tampere is the third destination of the tour.
– Foundations want research funding to be as impressive as possible and for researchers to be well. Our purpose is also that researchers know how to apply for funding from the foundations that best suit them, Säätiöt ja rahastot ry’s managing director Liisa Suvikumpu stated at the start of the tour.
Maija Belliard is now collecting ITC’s speaker proposals for the foundation day. The program of the actual day is compiled by the vice-rector of research & c.o.
Kirsi Aalto says that Tamperelaisen tutkimustyön tukisäätiö (the Tampere Research Support Foundation) asks Tampere University to nominate candidates for this year’s research grants. 2-3 proposals from the fields of technology, health and society are requested as grant recipients. The principal and vice-principal Visakorpi select the final proposals for the support foundation.
University funding is available for the development of the pedagogy of the faculties. ”Faculties and the Language Center can apply for funding and support for the following: development of digivision’s offer of continuous and flexible learning trays, promotion of digital pedagogy, application of flip and learn pedagogy in the study course, development of peek courses (high school students, second-level students) and development of the teaching offer in line with ECIU University’s goals (CBL challenges according to pedagogy and micro-modules).”
Pekka Verho has received six applications. We go through the applications and discuss prioritization.
The application for paid dissertation researcher positions will start next week. Eight salary positions will be opened and they will be for 2-4 years.
