Keskiviikkoaamun palaverissa keskustelimme yksiköiden päälliköiden toimenkuvasta. Provosti on pyytänyt toimenkuvien kuvaukset.
Yksiköiden päälliköiden työajasta noin puolet on suunniteltu käytettävän yksiöiden asioihin ja loput mm. omien tutkimusprojektien hoitamiseen. Päällikkötehtäviä on paljon. Timo Hämäläisen johtamassa Tietotekniikan yksikössä on enemmän henkilöstöä (410), kuin joissakin tiedekunnissa.
Tiedekunnan uudet organisaatiokaaviot ovat tulossa lähiaikoina.

We discussed the job description of the heads of units. The provost has asked for such from the faculties.
About half of the working time of the heads of the units is planned to be spent on the affairs of the studios and the rest e.g. to run their own research projects and other matters. There are many managerial positions. The Information Technology unit headed by Timo Hämäläinen has more staff (410) than some faculties.
