In the making of a new generation
As Gen Z (the generation born after the mid-90’s or in the early 21st century), it is my turn now to pick up the pieces of old generations. This means coming up with solutions to the problems we are facing at the moment after industrialisation, globalization and all the other -ations that have created wellbeing but also resulted in some unwanted outcomes. Sometimes, the earth as it is now and the elements on it that we are left with, make me hopeless when thinking of implementing change. Thus, in addition to making life as bearable as possible for the next generations, I want to make sure that the generations after me have the right tools to first, fix up the possible messes made by us (I’d say for example, mr. Ford didn’t know how much his factories would end up boosting capitalism and consumerism, thus I can not trust my decisions fully either), and second, implement change how they see fit.
