7. Meeting - German and Chinese part II

We repeated what we learnt before

Today we repeated German numbers which I had introduced to Kaili at our second meeting. I recognized again how absurd and different German numbers are because you name the last digit first and then the tens, for example 37 = Siebenunddreißig. Nevertheless, Kaili did it very well. After that, we went further on to repeat the alphabet. As I did the other way round at the last meeting, it helped Kaili to describe the German pronunciation with the Chinese one. After the conjugations of “sein” and “heißen”, I taught her the regular endings of verbs with personal pronouns using the example of “sagen”.

Then we changed in teaching and I tried to repeat the Chinese number again. Kaili also demonstrated me the differences in the pronunciation and tone generation in the mouth of two words which sounds the same to me.
