Melisha and I had a wonderful dinner getting to know and understand each other.
It was really easy for us to start together since we were classmates. We talked about Vietnam including tourist attractions, cuisine, culture. Melisha wishes to have the opportunity to travel to Vietnam. She knows that Vietnam also uses Latin letters like English, but Vietnamese has a quite complicated diacritic system.
Melisha taught me how to pronounce ending sounds, she told me to pay attention to these ending sounds, they will help me pronounce English clearly and cause less trouble. The words she noted to me were “t”, “k”, “th”, “d”. Additionally, Melisha corrected my pronunciation to distinguish between “s” and “sh”.
We had dinner together and it was like we lost track of time and almost 3 hours passed.
