During our second meeting, on 2nd of october, we met in front of the normal café and first got some coffee. With our coffees in hand, we sat down in the park since we were lucky with the weather and it was very sunny. We started by talking about our week and what we had been up to. After that, we began the “proper” lesson. Eire taught me how to order a coffee in Spanish. We also started learning some tenses like the present progressive and the past tense. Additionally, I learned how to ask about the bus. Then, I taught Eire some basic German vocabulary, such as greetings, farewells, and numbers up to ten. It was actually harder than we thought to explain the grammar of our native language, as many things are just known but not easily explained why they are the way they are or how they’re formed. But we did our best 🙂
