Inflation is also very noticeable in the Netherlands. Many products, especially groceries, have seen significant price increases. Among supermarkets, Albert Heijn is known to be the most expensive, while Jumbo and Hoogvliet fall into the middle price range. Aldi and Lidl continue to offer the cheapest options for budget-conscious shoppers. In Germany, a similar trend is observed, with Aldi and Lidl being the most affordable, while organic markets and Edeka are more expensive. Penny and Rewe are positioned in the middle price segment. Additionally, we learned some useful words for fruits and vegetables in both Dutch and German.
