Saludos desde Valencia

I really enjoyed my 3 months studying in Valencia. I’m grateful for the experience and I hope to return to Spain someday.

I have studied classical guitar at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica Joaquin Rodrigo. I really like the school, and it has increased my motivation for practicing. During the semester I have studied my repertoire, had masterclasses with wonderful teachers and played chamber music.

The level of the school is higher than in Tampere, which I think has improved my motivation for playing. One bad part of my school is that on Saturdays you can only practice until 15 and on Sunday the school is fully closed. Spanish people really value their rest days and on Sunday a lot of places are closed, even grocery stores.

Some tapas I ate. Food is usually enjoyed and shared with friends 🙂

In my spare time I have went to concerts, eaten good food, went into hikes and travelled a lot. I’ve made trips to see nature like Montanejos, Guadalest and Chulilla and also another cities like Zaragoza, Murcia, Granada, Malaga and Sevilla.

I’ve really enjoyed the sun and warm weather of Valencia and even went swimming into the ocean at the end of October. Now that I’m back in Finland, I really miss that.
