Coast to coast in Spain

My fall in Madrid has included studying, travelling and eating. I'm met new friends and got to know Spain through various activities such as a stand-up show, guided bicycle tour and rowing at the famous Retiro park. Studying here has given me knowledge about topics like taxation and retailing.

SpainPontevedraDespite living and studying in Madrid (which is in the middle of Spain), I was able to see water, both the east and west coasts. The first picture (with me) is taken from Platja d’Aro, 100 km northwest of Barcelona and the second one is from Pontevedra, Galicia.

FlamencoFlamenco is a traditional form of dance and music, originated from Andalucia, Spain. One of my best experiences was going to a Flamenco show in Madrid.

School

Most of my time consisted of studying. I had only 15 hours of lessons per week, but there were many exams, projects and assignments that required work. I enjoyed the courses very much, especially International Taxation and Omnichannel distribution (retailing). I didn’t notice a big difference studying in Spain versus Finland. If something, the teachers in Spain were stricter gave more work.

Overall, I had a fun exchange with a good balance of study and leisure. From hot days in September to cold mornings in December I enjoyed my time and fell in love with Spain.

Hasta la próxima, España!
