This time of being exchange student in Germany has made me find a student in me again. We had lectures four days a week, altogether 6 courses in various subjects. I feel that my selected courses were good, but I did not know that courses would have that much workload. I have ready dozens of articles, watched videos and using ChatGPT after the class to get the point what the professors have tried to teach. I do feel that I have learned here but is it enough passing the exams. The comparison of the Finnish studies is huge. Here it has been more lectures, and not so many group works. I do have six courses, and four of them have an exam. I know exams are not something new, but when my last exam was in bachelor’s degree in 2010, it gives a different perspective to you as student and learner, and how to learn everything by heart.
I have tried to balance my free time and studies. I have traveled a bit, going to events, and to me the key thing was to find a gym, because I knew it would be helpful to go through this journey. I have experienced also the food here and the ice cream, which is mainly Italian Gelato (delicious). After all these nice experiences I am looking forward to go home and I think I will appreciate my home country Finland even more after this experience. Bis bald!
