Hellouuu everybody!
Greetings from Hannover, Germany. So far 2 months in Hannover and it feels like time is flying. City is nice and it’s easy to travel from here to other citys near by. So far I have visited in Woflsburg, Munchen, Bremen and Hamburg. It’s really nice that we can use local trains to visit other citys which are under the same state. In Hannover there is about 514 000 inhabitants.
Living here have been nice. I’m leaving in hipster part of Hannover which is called Linden. Tram and busses are running all the time so it’s easy to move in here. One big minus for this whole exchange is the courses in the school. Almost every course is only 2,5 credit points so I have to pick up too many courses to get the credits. And the courses are not my studyline so it’s hard to find motivation for some courses. The style of keeping the courses seems to be same in every course. In classes the Professor is reading Power Point dias the whole lessons and students are not parcitipating for the classes. So the whole course is going like this and finally you have to do very hard exam where you have to out remember every little detail from the course. Not really suitable for me!!!
In Finland I didn’t appriciate school’s food so much but after being here I miss the food of my school. Every food feels like to be very unhealty. No salad anywhere!!!
Beer is goood! From Octoberfest in Munchen.
One really important thing in the exchange are the people who you are with. And here we have really good group. I have met many exchange students and also local students. Hopefully the rest of the time will be as good as so far…
Greetings, Juho
