What a country! This far, there has been none symptoms of homesickness or culture shock. It´s been 2 months already and people are asking me what are the differences between The Netherlands and Finland and it seems impossible to have a real answer for that question- both countries are so similar!
r!
Introduction week was success- we got to know all the exchange students.
After getting know all the other exchange students, there was four girls that I like to hang around. During the week it is really busy, but in the weekends we hit the road and travel all parts of this pretty country. We´ve been in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Zwolle. All the cities are different and fascinating in their own ways.
Beautiful Amsterdam…
Houses and the canals
The train station (Centraal station) in Amsterdam
The boat trip is nice way of view the city: monuments, houses and boat houses can be seen in this one hour lasting (9 euros) trip.
Even though the school is tough and demanding work a lot, I try not to work at all during the weekends. That is working just fine for me and I try to do all the school stuff on the week in the future too. What is clear for me now is that this Erasmus exchange is not year of the party, but more about studies. It’s not bothering me, I knew it when choosing Stenden to be my exchange University.
I´m enjoying every moment!
Doei!
