Orientation week
The semester 2019-2020 will start on Monday 19th of August at 9:00 am when the orientation week for students studying in international degree programmes kicks off in the Central Campus. The Welcome Week deals with all practical matters, so it is important that you attend. We will post here more information on the exact schedule of the Welcome Week as soon as we get more information.
SAFER orientation plus meet & greet on Tuesday 20th 13:00 – 17:00
On Tuesday 20th of August we will also have an orientation event aimed specifically for the students of the SAFER master’s degree programme. The SAFER orientation event starts at 13:00 in the afternoon and will be held in the Central Campus area (information on the exact location later on). During this event you will meet your fellow students as well as the professors, teachers and administrative staff of the programme. During the event we will also discuss on the structure and substance of the degree programme as well as how you should plan your studies in the programme.
Later on in the evening, after the official agenda, we will also have a more relaxed meet & greet event with students from the other international master’s degree programmes in the Faculty of Management and Business also joining us. Should be fun!
Moreover, on the next week we will have a follow-up orientation events during which we will discuss about personal study plans and other practicalities related to studying:
Security governance track students: Monday 26th of August, 10-12 (Pinni A3017, Central Campus)
Safety management & engineering track students: Tuesday 27th of August, 10-12 (PB212, Main Building in Hervanta Campus)
