2.Meeting-Minigolf

Minigolf and Fastfood

At our second meeting we played some minigolf. Since I played a lot of minigolf in Germany I can say that this minigolf was very difficult. Kotaro and Max said the same. Ho Khoa was surprisingly good though he never played minigolf before.
Vietnam is the only country where it isn’t usual to play minigolf. The minigolf was very funny at the beginning, but in the end it got very boring because it took so long to complete all the courses.
Therfore, all of us got really hungry and we talked a lot about food. Through this we figured out how different fastfood is in our countries. While Germans prefere some kebab, curry sausage or pizza, it is very common in Vietnam to eat only bread and in Japan chips or some candy.
The one thing which is common it McDonalds.
For this meeting we chose the following vocabulary:
Englisch |German |Vietnamese |Japanese
Ball |Ball |Trái banh |ボール (Bōru)
Fork |Gabel |Cái nỉa |フォーク (Fōku)
Table |Tisch |Bàn |テーブル (Tēburu)
cup |Tasse |Ly |カップ (Kappu)
golf club |Golfschläger |Gậy đánh gôn |ゴルフクラブ (Gorufu Kurabu)
