Our third meeting was at a café called Linkosuo.
We spent most of this meeting talking about cultural differences between Finland and Spain. We talked about how different structures the days have in Spain. As a rule of thumb, Spanish people do things quite a bit later than Finns. We also discussed student culture in Finland and in Spain. Spanish student culture lacks the organisation that Finnish student culture has. The different stereotypes of Finns and Spanish people also came up.
Though we didn’t originally plan to we ended up teaching each other names of the kitchen utensils that were around in the café. It felt sensible in the moment and worked out rather well for us.
