4th Meeting - Spanish cuisine (11.10.2023)

Making a spanish omelette

We spend our fourth meeting cooking at Marina’s place. We focused mostly on learning about Spanish cuisine.

Marina taught me how to make Spanish omelette (or tortilla de patatas in Spanish). It turned out to be very simple to make and I can definitely see why it’s such a big part of Spanish cuisine. It’s made with eggs, olive oil and potatoes. Marina also had some Iberian ham that I got to taste. It was also good, and I’ve never tasted ham like that before. We also talked about other common Spanish foods with the aid of some pictures.

We took the opportunity to review the names of kitchen utensils that we taught each other in our third meeting.
