The fourth meeting occurred on my birthday in February. I held a dinner party and made some Thai food for everyone to try. Here are some of the food that I made:
- Pad Kra Pao Moo = stir-fry pork with sweet basil
- Pad Pak = stir-fry vegetable
- Kaeng Khiao Wan = Thai green curry
- Tom yum = Thai sour & spicy soup
I also made them in a vegan-version for Cecilia. It was quite challenging since I have never worked with vegan food before. However, it turned out very well and I was glad that everybody liked the food I cooked 🙂 Cecilia also taught me how to say happy birthday in Finnish: Hyvää syntymäpäivää
It was a fun night where I learned so many things whether the language, food culture, or even vegan practices. The dinner was indeed a success and I really had a great memorable birthday.
