6. Meeting: Pfannkuchen

Pfannkuchen time or rather Eierkuchen!

This time around, it was all about Pfannkuchen, or as I in Berlin like to call them, Eierkuchen!

Fabian and I finally got our moment to shine in the kitchen. We usually make German pancakes, so Pfannkuchen, at least every two weeks. I showed Nissa the art of flipping them, I’ve known this since I was a kid. Nissa, though, was a natural, but on her first attempt, the pancake ended up next to the pan, not in it – haha, we had a good laugh about that.

Making and talking about Eierkuchen didn’t take much time. It turns out, no matter where you’re from, everyone has their unique twist on pancake perfection but the basics are the same. All in all, we had a lot of fun and picked up more baking and breakfast vocabulary along the way.
